Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman Warren Brinson made a statement this week that should catch the attention of the Tennessee Vols and the rest of the SEC.

Brinson appeared on The Players Lounge and he suggested that Georgia should "destroy everybody" in 2024.

"We got some weapons, man," said Brinson. "If we do what we're supposed to do, if the D-line does what we're supposed to do and [we] develop depth, with (quarterback) Carson (Beck) and his weapons, we should go out and destroy everybody."

Brinson also took a shot at the Florida Gators' offensive line while discussing the addition of running back Trevor Etienne (Etienne transferred from Florida to Georgia this offseason).

"Etienne's nice...but now he's got an offensive line," said Brinson.

You can't blame Brinson for the bravado -- Georgia has been the class of college football over the last several years (the Bulldogs were probably one of the top two or three teams in the nation last season, but they were squeezed out of the four-team playoff because of their loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship game).

Still, that doesn't mean that Tennessee and the rest of the SEC should just sit back and watch Georgia dominate. The only way to pass the Bulldogs in the SEC is to beat them. And based on Brinson's comments, it sounds like Georgia doesn't think they'll lose a game in 2024.

The Vols and the rest of the conference would be wise to use Brinson's comments as bulletin board material. His words should serve as a reminder all offseason as to who everyone is chasing in the SEC.
