Georgia puts up 589 yards of total offense and 65 points in blowout CFP National Championship

The Georgia Bulldogs have once again won the national championship. Led by senior quarterback Stetson Bennett IV and a defense that allowed an explosive TCU offense just seven points, Kirby Smart's Bulldogs were never in danger of losing.

UGA walked away with a 65-7 win that was, frankly, over by the start of the second quarter with the Bulldogs already up 17-7. They led 38-7 going into halftime and 52-7 going into the fourth quarter.

As if that wasn't enough, the Bulldogs added two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter with Bennett and many of the UGA starters already celebrating on the bench.

It was absolute domination from Georgia, which finished with a 15-0 record on the season. The Bulldogs are only the fourth team in college football history to finish with a perfect 15-0 record.

UGA's offense rolled from start to finish against TCU. The Bulldogs put up 589 total yards of offense, including 335 through the air. Bennett was 18-of-25 for 304 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed in two touchdowns with his feet. Freshman running back Branson Robinson added two rushing scores of his own to go along with 42 yards, and wideout Ladd McConkey notched himself two touchdowns and 88 yards.

Speaking of yardage, star tight end Brock Bowers caught seven passes for 152 yards and a touchdown.

Georgia's defense held the Horned Frogs to just 188 total yards and picked off quarterback Max Duggan twice.

It was as dominant of a win as you'll ever see. The fact that UGA played that game in the national championship of all games?

It was truly legendary from the Bulldogs.
