Grambling State is expected to part ways with head coach Hue Jackson after two seasons.

Jackson is 8-14 (6-10 SWAC) over his two seasons with the Tigers. Grambling State finished the 2023 season with a loss to Southern in the 50th annual Bayou Classic.

Prior to his stint at Grambling State, Jackson served as the offensive coordinator at Tennessee State under head coach Eddie George. Tennessee State averaged 19.7 points per game under Jackson and finished the season with a 5-6 record.

Jackson was 11-44 over four seasons as an NFL head coach with the Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns. His career exploded after a successful stint as the offensive coordinator at USC, where Jackson coached Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer.

An official announcement from the university is expected later today.
