There aren't many people who can pull off interviews like Shannon Sharpe. The Club Shay Shay host did it again this week when he welcomed Johnny Manziel to the show.

The two-hour episode was outstanding and touched on several topics from the jaded past of the former college star and projects he's currently working on. He was even asked his thoughts on the "Prime Effect" in Boulder. While the response wasn't surprising, Manziel wants potential recruits to hear his words loud and clear.

"We've had a great relationship for years," Manziel said about Sanders. "I think looking back on our relationship now, he knew something special in me to the point of where he would interject in my life at times or send me a message or like really show love that he didn't have to do.

"If I was a college kid looking now, I would say Texas A&M is the best school in the country, right? That's a given. But number two, I would play for a man who's a leader of men. A guy who carries himself the way that Prime does. And without a doubt I would sign my life and if I sit, look at it from a different perspective... If I was a father and my son was looking to go to play for a coach, I would absolutely, without a doubt, unequivocally, send them to Coach Prime."

Sanders has always been a staunch supporter of Manziel going back to his days under the Friday Night lights in Texas. The two have kept in touch throughout the years, with Prime in broadcasting and the former Aggies having a short-lived career in the NFL.

Manziel also went on the record with Sharpie about a potential plan to commit to the University of Texas, losing 40 pounds due to drug abuse, and what his NIL valuation would've been at Texas A&M. He also gave his thoughts on a "Heisman curse", which has been expressed by other past winners.

We'll see if Coach Prime brings Manziel on campus this year to give the Buffaloes a little bit of motivation and a different perspective.
