He has not made a lot of big plays on defense this year, but Saturday presents an opportunity for Jordan Battle.

The senior safety for Alabama football wants to become a first-round NFL Draft pick. He takes on Louisiana State University at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. As a South Florida native, Battle is 2-1 against the Tigers. He knows the importance of this matchup with the SEC West and College Football Playoff on the line. Battle got featured in the Crimson Tide’s latest hype video, “Can’t Sit Still,” for the LSU game. He said the reason you come to Alabama is to play in the biggest games, with the best teammates, and against the best competition. Battle said, when it means something to you, ‘you can’t stand still.’

He looks to lead the defensive secondary to an outstanding performance against the Tigers.
