The Alabama Crimson Tide football program is in an exciting time of change as the Kalen DeBoer era begins. Spring practice is just around the corner for the program, but that hasn't stopped DeBoer and his staff from hitting the ground running in recruiting.

On Monday the Alabama football program offered a scholarship to a running back with a notorious name.

Bo Jackson.

No, not the 61-year old multi-sport legend.

Lamar "Bo" Jackson is a 4-star running back out of Villa-Angela St. Joseph's High School in Cleveland, Ohio. The 247SportsComposite considers him the No. 5 player in the state of Ohio and the No. 8 running back in the class.

He helped the Vikings to a 9-4 record as a junior, tallying 1,700 all-purpose yards and 28 touchdowns.

Jackson has over 20 scholarship offers already and has plans to visit several big name schools during the spring and early summer. The Ohio product is visiting Florida, Clemson, Ohio State, Tennessee and Florida State to name a few.

Jackson is listed at 6-foot, 207-pounds on his own Hudl page and reportedly runs a 4.5 40-yard dash.

While his name stirs up memories and emotions in the state of Alabama, he's not the only running back prospect the Crimson Tide is interested in.

Alabama currently has Anthony "Turbo" Rogers as one of its two commits in the Class of 2025. Rogers is rated slightly higher than Jackson at the moment, but the pair seem to have different skillsets. Rogers, a former Pike Road Patriot, transferred from IMG Academy back to Alabama to play his senior year at Carver in Montgomery.
