Kentucky quarterback Devin Leary was named to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Watch List.

The award is named after Johnny Unitas and is given annually to the top college quarterback.

Leary has a real shot at winning this award, thanks to the weapons he has around him and having Liam Coen back in Lexington calling plays.

The numbers Leary put up in 2021 at NC State were straight out of a video game, and I believe he can have a similar season for the Cats this year.

If the Big Blue Wall can give him time in the pocket, Leary will pick SEC defenses apart.

Barion Brown and Dane Key give Leary one of the best one-two punches in the country, which will also help him put up big numbers.

Leary will raise his draft stock a ton this season in Lexington and is a guy I could definitely see playing on Sundays in the future.

He is deserving of these preseason accolades, but the Big Blue Nation feels he will rack up awards after this season is complete.
