Ohio State Buckeyes offensive coordinator Brian Hartline thankfully met with the media Tuesday at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, something that potentially could have not happened after the events on April 16.

At approximately 1:20 a.m. just over one month ago, Hartline wrecked his UTV side-by-side the Sunday following the Buckeyes' spring game at his home in Powell, OH. and he and one other person not affiliated with the university were taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Hartline told first responders when they arrived to his property that he had been drinking prior to the incident.

Hartline said Tuesday the incident, like anything, "could have been worse" and that he's "feeling good" and "could play a game right now."

"No, there's nothing I can really say," Hartline said. "All I would say is that in hindsight, I probably would've rather went to bed instead of rode in the side-by-side, but that's about all I'll say."

The 36-year-old didn't go into detail about the wreck. Hartline said he has not addressed the incident with the team and that if he does anything that is said will be "kept in house."

"Everything provides a learning opportunity, and I would say it was a learning opportunity," Hartline said.
