LSU reportedly banning former RB Derrius Guice from athletics program

LSU is reportedly in the process of banning former running back Derrius Guice from the athletics program indefinitely and removing his name from the school's record books, according to ESPN's Heather Dinich.

The decision comes after Guice, who starred at LSU from 2015-17, faced allegations of sexual assault by two women in 2016. A third woman says he took a partially nude photo of her without consent and shared it with his teammates.

LSU is also planning to part ways with its law firm, Taylor Porter, as part of changes stemming from a review of its allegations against its athletic department released last month.

Guice was arrested in August on separate domestic violence charges and was later released by the Washington Football Team. Two weeks later, two women came forward with rape allegations against the running back from his time at LSU.

The women previously reported the alleged sexual assaults to members of LSU's athletic department and the school did not investigate.

Guice has been a free agent since being released by Washington last year. In five games, he ran for 245 yards and two touchdowns.
