You have to sympathize a little with Ohio State fans. It’s been incredibly hard for them to accept that Michigan football has been the superior program over the past three seasons.
Despite three wins, two of which were by double digits, along with another in which Michigan football didn’t trail for a single second, Ohio State fans have been talking about the Wovlerines impending doom.
People like Buckeye Scoop keep telling anyone gullible enough to listen that Michigan football is going to lose all of its top talent to the transfer portal. However, the “mass exodus” that was supposed to come after Jim Harbaugh departed for the NFL never did.
Michigan didn’t lose a single expected starter. Keon Sabb is a quality player. Karmello English, a wideout who is also leaving, has promise but only caught one pass last season.
So, it’s safe to say that Ohio State fans were exaggerating, just like they have been with “sign gate.” The diehard Buckeyes keep saying the “hammer is coming” but even they have to start doubting it.
Michigan football star reiterates that he’s not leaving
Nothing that they predicted has come to pass and after Mason Graham told reporters on Monday that Michigan football is where he wants to be, it looks like Buckeye Scoop and his brethren have struck out again.
“There’s always going to be rumors,” Graham said. “Michigan is where I want to be.”
Graham is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 1 defensive tackle in college football. One PFF analyst even said he would be the first defensive tackle off the board in the 2024 NFL draft if he was eligible . Graham will be next season, just like Kenneth Grant and Will Johnson — all expected first-round picks who are all expected to be playing for the Wolverines in 2024, despite what crazy Buckeye fans say.
As I said, it’s been a tough few years for Ohio State, so we’ll cut them some slack for being so wrong, so often.
