The Oklahoma State Cowboys are hosting the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT in what will be the final battle between these two teams for the foreseeable future.

Though there are plenty of storylines heading into this year's Bedlam, one of them stands out amongst the others. Trace Ford, a Sooners defensive lineman that has appeared in all eight games this season, spent four years in Stillwater playing with the Cowboys.

His cross-Bedlam transfer shocked the state, and he now gets the chance to face his former team in his former city of Stillwater.

Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy had an interesting choice of words when asked about playing against Ford.

“In watching tape, I honestly haven’t noticed much,” Gundy said. “I don’t pay as much attention to individual guys as I do schemes, formations, etc..."

Ford, joining the Sports Animal on Thursday, had a chance to respond to Gundy's comments.

“I can’t wait to play [Gundy]. I can’t wait to see his face. If he hasn’t seen me on film yet, I hope he does this weekend.”

This is a notorious battle, and both Gundy and Ford are adding to the fire that is Bedlam. These team's don't like each other, and battling it out one final time is going to provide an incredible matchup.

This will be a huge matchup for Ford, too, who will be defending an offense that has really found its groove over the past few weeks. Ollie Gordon has been running rampant behind an improved offensive line, and it'll be up to Ford and his defense to slow that down in a tough environment.

Among the storylines, the Sooners and Cowboys both enter this matchup ranked in the College Football Playoff rankings, meaning the final Bedlam will also be a ranked matchup.
