The Mississippi State Bulldogs add Josaiah Knight as the newest member of their 2024 class. First-year head coach Jeff Lebby put together most of this class during the early signing day in December by signing 31 players.

Knight was also busy on the early signing day, as the Tallahassee, Florida, signed with Illinois. It is not clear how Knight was released from his letter of intent, but the Bulldogs will gladly take the 6-3.5 230 pound-edge player.

In Knights's senior season at Gadsden County High School, he collected 36 tackles, 16 TFLs, two fumble recoveries, and forced a fumble as well. Knight possesses good length, which is critical to being an effective pass rusher in the SEC.

Knight is a consensus three-star player and holds offers from 27 schools, including a trio of SEC schools, Arkansas, Missouri, and Vanderbilt. The Bulldogs did much of their work in December, but MSU kept their ear to the street and picked up a good prospect at a position of need.
