The worst thing about the Tennessee Vols' 2024 schedule is that they don't play the Missouri Tigers

Tennessee undoubtedly wants a shot at revenge after a 36-7 loss to the Tigers in Columbia last season.

It's not just the loss that likely irritates the Vols, it's also how Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz acted after the game -- when he told UT head coach Josh Heupel, for seemingly no reason, that the Tigers "stand on business".

Drinkwitz added to the rivalry on Tuesday night during Tennessee's basketball game against Missouri.

The Mizzou head coach was sitting courtside and at one point in the first half, according to SEC Network announcer Tom Hart, he was talking trash to Tennessee's players.

"Look at this, Eli Drinkwitz is yelling, after a high five from Truman (Missouri's mascot), over to the Tennessee huddle 'you ain't that tough'. Still standing on business," said Hart with 6:34 remaining in the first half.

Drinkwitz currently has bragging rights in this rivalry thanks to Missouri's win last fall (though talking trash to Tennessee's basketball players is still a bizarre move). But he should know as well as anyone that Heupel and the Vols are going to keep the receipts and they'll be looking for revenge (with the aid of some bulletin board material) when the Tigers, presumably, visit Knoxville in 2025.
