It was a successful week for multiple former FCS players at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
South Dakota State offensive lineman Garret Greenfield set the new vertical jump record (38.5") for offensive lineman at the NFL Combine. Holy Cross wide receiver Jalen Coker also tied for the highest vertical jump (42.5") among participants at this year's event.
Three former FCS players were also named to NFL.com's All-Combine Team after stellar performances last week in Indianapolis.
Below are the former FCS players who were mentioned by NFL.com as the top performers at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.
Offense: C.J. Hanson (Holy Cross; OG)
Hanson may not have posted the best athletic testing numbers but made a strong impression during on-field drills. He ranked No. 4 among all offensive linemen (9'7") in the broad jump and ranked Top 10 in two other drills (40-yard dash & Vertical).
NFL.com's Nick Shook praised Hanson's mobility throughout on-field drills and raved about his powerful hands. Hanson checked all the boxes in Indianapolis with his size, athleticism, and technique. Below are the projected best team fits from NFL.com.

Honorable Mention: Mason McCormick (South Dakota State; OG)
McCormick may have had the most impressive athletic testing performance of any offensive lineman at this year's event. He led all offensive linemen with a 9'9" broad jump and had the highest Athleticism Score from NFL Next Gen Stats.
He also posted a 9.96 Relative Athletic Score (RAS), which ranked No. 7 among offensive guards since 1987. McCormick's performance has created a strong surge as a potential Day 2 pick and earned praise from multiple scouts across social media.
Honorable Mention: Myles Harden (South Dakota; CB)
Harden excelled in all aspects of his performance, including leading all players at the NFL Combine in the 20-yard shuttle (3.98). He was the only player to post a time under four seconds at this year's event. He also ranked No. 3 among cornerbacks in the 3-cone drill (6.88).
Harden made a huge impression during on-field drills, which has helped improve his stock entering the 2024 NFL Draft. He looked fluid and showed elite burst throughout on-field workouts. Harden's performance, combined with his FCS All-American season in 2023, should help him earn Day 3 consideration at the 2024 NFL Draft.
