INDIANAPOLIS — Drills are officially underway at Lucas Oil Stadium for the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. This year, Missouri had eight players invited to the NFL's premier pre-draft event.

MizzouCentral's Joey Van Zummeren and Quentin Corpuel will be in Indianapolis all week to provide coverage on the eight players representing Missouri.

In this video, Joey and Quentin give their thoughts after hearing from Missouri defensive backs Ennis Rakestraw Jr., Kris Abrams-Draine and J.C. Carlies.

Rakestraw is currently projected as a first-round pick after playing four years in Columbia. On Thursday, he spoke about recovering from the multiple injuries that he suffered in his college career.

Abrams-Draine is currently projected as a middle-round pick that could provide versatility to a NFL secondary. He spoke about his experience playing both boundary and nickel corner and his toughness.

Rakestraw, Carlies and Abrams-Draine will all be looking to impress NFL scouts and general managers Friday when they participate in drills at Lucas Oil Stadium.

On Friday, running back Cody Schrader will speak to the media after his 2023 campaign where he led the SEC in rushing.
