On Friday, the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine continued. The best draft eligible cornerbacks were on display, including former Notre Dame standout Cam Hart. There was a lot of intrigue and optimis over what Hart could accomplish in Indianapolis.

By all accounts, it was a fantastic performance. Based solely on athleticism, size and performance, Hart aced this section of the job interview. Here is how he fared on Friday.

WEIGH-IN RESULTS

There’s a good argument that Hart might be the most physically impressive cornerback in attendance this week. He is incredibly long, with a well proportioned frame to work with. Somehow Hart also increased his arm length by ⅜ of an inch since the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl, as well as being a bit taller.

Here are all of Hart’s measurements from this week. Saying he won the weigh-in would be a massive understatement.

Height: 6-3
Weight: 202
Arm: 33
Hand: 9 ⅜”
Wingspan: 78 ⅞”

ATHLETIC TESTING

As expected, Hart tested exceptionally well in Indianapolis. He ran very well at his size, clocking a 4.50 seconds flat. Hart’s explosive drills were also fantastic, which was also great to see. As an athlete there is little question about Hart. From a height-weight-speed perspective, you won’t find much better than Hart.

Here are Hart's testing numbers from Friday.

40-Yard Dash: 4.50 seconds
Vertical Jump: 39.5 inches
Broad Jump: 10 feet, 10 inches
3-Cone: 7.12
20-Yard Shuttle: 4.24

POSITIONAL DRILLS

For a longer athlete, you can always worry about slow transitions at cornerback. For Hart, he showed that he was surprisingly good at changing direction. They put the group through several variations of change of direction drills, testing the flexibility and fluidity. Hart aced all of those tests.

In the end, the medicals are going to be the biggest thing that will make or break Hart’s draft stock. Based solely on his 2023 season and predraft work, he has been tremendous.
