Notre Dame football spoofs 'The Hangover' ahead of Shamrock Series in Vegas

Notre Dame football isn't playing its Shamrock Series game in Las Vegas until October 8. But head coach Marcus Freeman and his team already have fans excited thanks to their now-viral social media promo video.

Freeman, along with senior defensive lineman Isaiah Foskey and junior tight end Michael Mayer, star in a spoof of "The Hangover" to promote their Shamrock Series game against the BYU Cougars at Allegiant Stadium in Sin City.

In the video, Freeman and the two players are on a mission to find the Fighting Irish's specialty jerseys for the big game. The specialty gold-trimmed white jerseys are revealed at the end of the video.

Notre Dame and BYU, which are both independent programs, are playing each other for the first time since 2013 and the first time at a neutral site, according to CBS Sports.
