Ohio State Buckeyes running back Miyan Williams announced on Tuesday that he will be entering the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Buckeyes rusher released a statement to his social media pages thanking Ohio State and fans of the Scarlet and Gray for supporting him over his four-year career.

"It has been an honor and a privilege to play at Ohio State," Williams said. "I would like to start by thanking the university and the best damn band in the land and the best damn fans in the land for the opportunity to play for you."

Williams went on to say he would "miss suiting up and running out (of) the tunnel and playing in The 'Shoe" with his Ohio State teammates. "The bonds we built are for life," Williams said. "I love y'all boys, man."

The senior echoed that same sentiment for his coaches and football staff, thanking them for their support. Finally, Williams shared his gratitude for his mom, whom he credits as "always being that person I can come to about any and everything."

Over four years, Williams amassed 1,554 yards and 20 touchdowns through 31 games with the Buckeyes. Among these contests are the 2020 Sugar Bowl, the 2021 Rose Bowl and 2022 Peach Bowl, the first and third of which functioned as part of the College Football Playoff.

Williams finished his statement with his official declaration for the draft.

"It's time for me to embark on my next chapter and making my dreams of playing in the NFL a reality," Williams said. "I have decided to enter my name in the 2024 NFL Draft. As I take these next steps in life, I will forever be a Buckeye for life."
