Ohio State had a scare Saturday when quarterback Justin Fields went to the injury tent in the third quarter.

Fields was hurt running for a touchdown, and he appeared to take a helmet to the lower back as he made his way into the end zone. He was checked out in the injury tent after the drive.

Fields returned to the game on the very next drive. While he was moving around fine, he was visibly wincing after being tackled on a quarterback run and appeared to be in some pain.

Fields has been totally dominant for Ohio State this season, with 30 total touchdowns heading into Saturday’s game. The Buckeyes could ill afford to lose him for any meaningful period of time.
