Oklahoma QB General Booty signs smart NIL deal

General Booty is one of the best names in sports. Perhaps the best, in fact.

The Oklahoma quarterback isn't expected to get much playing time behind Dillon Gabriel and Jackson Arnold this fall, but that hasn't stopped the redshirt sophomore from cashing in on his God-given talents: Mainly his name.

The latest deal Booty has signed is so obvious it may as well have slapped him in the face. It's being reported that the quarterback has signed an NIL deal with Rock 'Em Socks, an Orlando-based company that is going to help him launch an underwear collection.

The "Booty Collection," as this writer is calling it, will feature two pairs of underwear as well as socks.

“Last year General came to our HQ and tried on some of the first pairs of boxers we ever made,” Rock ‘Em senior vice president Steve Rollins said, per On3. “He gave us valuable feedback on the fit before he even started to design his own collection.”

The boxers are Sooner red and feature Booty's last name on the...um..."booty region". They're also officially licensed with Oklahoma, meaning that the Sooners' iconic logo is part of the package (pun intended).

Booty many not have much experience as an Oklahoma quarterback to boast of, but he'll undoubtedly become an Oklahoma icon thanks to this brilliant NIL idea.
