The Oregon Ducks have had a string of good news lately. First, highly successful head coach Dan Lanning announced he was staying with the program after he was heavily rumored to head to Alabama after Nick Saban retired. Now, the program has landed the top wide receiver in the transfer portal, former Texas A&M star Evan Stewart.

Oregon Ducks Land WR Evan Stewart

Stewart has been productive since day one. He earned SEC All-Freshman honors after posting 53 receptions for 649 yards and two touchdowns in his first year. In his career with the Aggies, he has 91 receptions for 1,163 yards and 6 touchdowns. Stewart joins an offense that has Dillon Gabriel likely under center and Tez Johnson returning to the school. Oregon has been known for its high-octane offenses over the years and it looks like that is going to continue.

Move To The Big Ten

Oregon is looking to dominate the Big Ten right away. They have to play the conference’s elite in 2024. Both Michigan and Ohio State are on the schedule. If you want to win the Big Ten, those are the teams you have to dethrone. On top of those games, they have to travel to Wisconsin and then take on Washington to end the regular season. This was the one team they could not beat this year and will likely be out for revenge in 2024.

The Oregon Ducks are hoping to be on top of the college football world in 2024. They certainly have the talent and the offseason is just beginning. If Oregon can grab more top-tier talent, they will be a force to be reckoned with.
