Dan Lanning is at it again in the Transfer Portal. Oregon Football has already brought in 11 top transfer players this off-season and Lanning is apparently not done trying add talent to one of the best rosters in the nation.

According to Steve Wiltfong of On3 Sports, Oregon is one of several teams already reaching out to former Georgia running back Andrew Paul who just entered the portal today. Paul was a fringe four star recruit who was a late riser on recruiting boards. He was largely overlooked and undervalued for quite some time due to the level of private school talent he faced off against in Texas, but don't let that fool you. The 5'11", 220-pound feature back is one of the top talents available in the Transfer Portal right now.

Dan Lanning was part of Andrew Paul's recruitment when he was still on staff at Georgia, so there's already an existing relationship there. And when you look at the list of the other schools also currently pursuing Paul's services, it's clear that Oregon is the top option for him. Oregon Ducks fans should get ready to welcome this talented young man to campus here soon unless some other blue blood gets involved.

If you're unfamiliar with Paul, an injury derailed the start to his college career, where he missed all of 2022. However, last fall he looked powerful, explosive, and impressive with every one of his 29 carries. This spring he had reportedly been dominating, and played with tenacity and strength in Georgia's spring game just last week as you can see in the post below from SEC Unfiltered.

The Ducks already have some talented running backs in Jordan James, Noah Whittington, and new incoming transfer Jay Harris, but don't be surprised if Andrew Paul heads to Eugene here soon.
