It isn’t a surprise that ESPN’s Paul Finebaum is not a fan of Jim Harbaugh. Ever since Harbaugh came to Michigan, Finebaum has been very critical of the Wolverines coach. It has ramped up since the sign-stealing allegations have come to light and Finebaum is after the coach again. He blasted Harbaugh’s coaching style calling him a “dinosaur”.

Paul Finebaum Calls Jim Harbaugh A “Dinosaur”

Harbaugh has been a huge topic of discussion this season. Along with the sign-stealing allegations, people have wondered whether he will make the jump to the NFL. Finebaum thinks that the coach is not going to change in a changing college football world. “I think he is somewhat of a dinosaur in a changing world,” Finebaum said. He went on to say that he would be surprised if he stayed at Michigan after this season regardless of the outcome.

What Will Harbaugh Do?

A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that the university was close to an extension with Harbaugh but the hang-up was the coach promising not to look at NFL jobs. We haven’t heard anything since on that matter. This week, the Los Angeles Chargers have reportedly been interested and it seems the two sides have talked. It will be one of the biggest topics of the offseason and will likely depend on what the NCAA does with the sign-stealing scandal.

I will say while Jim Harbaugh has his faults, I personally am tired of hearing Finebaum talk about him. We get it, you don’t like him. Michigan prepares to take on Alabama in the College Football Playoff and Harbaugh could silence a lot of critics including Finebaum with a win.
