One of the state of Alabama’s rising freshman prospects, Anthony Jones made it to Tuscaloosa to Alabama football’s junior day Saturday.

Jones attends St. Paul Episcopal in Mobile, Alabama.

“I like it a lot,” Jones told Touchdown Alabama. “It was very organized, and their staff is about their business.”

Nick Saban spoke with Jones during his visit and discussed the importance of the words and & but. Jones said he was at a loss for words while talking to Saban.

“It was amazing,” Jones said. “I was very nervous though and speechless. He talked about being an and or but person and being where your feet are.”

Jones is looking to visit Georgia and Clemson this spring.

At 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, Jones has the frame to play inside or outside linebacker at the next level. St. Paul lines him up at inside linebacker, defensive end and wide receiver. He plans to become more explosive in the future.
