Texas A&M WR Caleb Chapman likely out for season with knee injury
Texas A&M Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher said on Monday that redshirt sophomore wide receiver Caleb Chapman likely won't play again this season because of the knee injury he suffered in Saturday's thrilling 41-38 win over Florida.
As Adam Rittenberg wrote for ESPN, Chapman went down shortly after he caught a 51-yard touchdown pass that helped tie the game at 38-38 with under five minutes remaining in the contest. In total, Chapman caught nine passes for 151 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory.
Chapman leads the Aggies with three receiving scores and is second on the team in catches (14) and receiving yards (197).

Neither Fisher nor Chapman has yet confirmed the exact nature of the injury.
This past Saturday was the first time Chapman tallied at least five catches in a game for the Aggies. He had four grabs and a score in Texas A&M's season-opening 17-12 win over Vanderbilt on Sept. 26 but was then held to a single catch in the 52-24 blowout loss to Alabama the subsequent Saturday.
He missed the majority of the 2018 campaign because of an injury.
The Aggies sit at 2-1 and play at Mississippi State (1-2) this coming Saturday.
