The 34-30 loss may still sting for the Texas Longhorns , but the season will go on. Texas offensive lineman Christian Jones emphasizes the importance of taking in the loss and feeling all the emotions necessary to bounce back better than ever.

"I feel like you should always feel all your emotions, no matter what," Jones said. "Don't try and fake it, or not feel a complete failure. Just to get it out, get it out of your system and move on. So it's kind of staying 24 hours. Next day, the sun's up. You know it's a great day, you're alive, you're healthy and blessed, on to the next activity and how you can improve."

Jones wants to let the loss settle into the Longhorns' roster, but he does not want it to consume them. Letting the defeat go, working on improvements and moving on is the best solution and takeaway after this past weekend in Jones' mind.

"You just kind of like sting a little bit and immediately think about the things that you could have done yourself to, to help you get to the place that you messed up on...," Jones said. "We're going to go...back and look at the film, pick up mistakes and just move on."

There are some benefits to a loss, however, according to Jones. A loss strengthens a team's chemistry and makes you crave a second chance.

"We do want to see them (Oklahoma) again," Jones said. "And we just know that we have to take it day by day. Loss like this does bring a team together closer."
