North Carolina wide receiver Devontez Walker suffered a scary injury Saturday night against Georgia Tech.

After making a huge catch on 3rd-and-long to give the Tar Heels a would-be first down, Walker was hit by a devastating blow from a Yellow Jacket defender that came out of nowhere. The legal hit jarred the ball loose, and was recovered by Georgia Tech, while Walker had to he helped from the field after spending a long time on the ground.

The play was obviously a huge momentum swing late in the game, but the bigger concern is obviously for Walker's health.

Here's the play:

After missing the first four games of the season waiting for the NCAA to declare him eligible after transferring from Kent State, Walker has made up for lost time, putting up massive numbers for the Tar Heels over the last few weeks.

Here's hoping the injury turns out to be nothing serious, and he's back on the field at full strength as soon as possible.
