Trevor Etienne is in the transfer portal, and apparently there is a good possibility that he could end up at one of Florida’s biggest rivals.
On3 Sports’ Pete Nakos reported on Tuesday that Georgia is considered the favorite to land Etienne.
The Associated Press’ Mark Long reported last week that Etienne was considering Alabama and Ohio State in addition to Georgia.
Etienne rushed for 753 yards and a team-leading eight touchdowns this season. Etienne split carries with Montrell Johnson Jr., who led the Gators in both attempts (152) and rushing yards (817).
There had been some talk early in the season that Etienne was looking to transfer. Those rumors have come true, and the result could be Etienne heading to the Bulldogs.
Georgia’s rushing game this season has been led by seniors Daijun Edwards and Kendall Milton. Etienne has two years of eligibility left.
