Trevor Lawrence signs endorsement deal with cryptocurrency app Blockfolio

Trevor Lawrence's NFL career hasn't begun yet, but the former Clemson quarterback is signing endorsement deals left and right.

The presumptive No. 1 overall pick has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with the cryptocurrency investment app Blockfolio, according to The New York Times. He received a signing bonus that was paid out entirely in crypto and deposited into his Blockfolio account.

A spokesperson for the company told The Times that his signing bonus is already worth more than it was on Friday when it was deposited.

The news comes after Lawrence signed an endorsement deal with Gatorade last week.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to select Lawrence with the first overall pick in this week's draft. The 21-year-old was a standout at Clemson, leading the Tigers to a national championship as a freshman.

He went 34-2 as a starter, completing 66.6% of his passes for 10,098 yards and 90 touchdowns against 17 interceptions.
