In the new world of the transfer portal bad news and good news flow as freely as beer at a tailgate party. Today some good news. One of the top wide receivers in the portal will include USC football among the schools he will visit before deciding on his new destination.

Penn State wide receiver Keandre Lambert-Smith will visit USC next week after trips to Auburn and Texas A&M.

The 6’1″ 188 lbs fifth-year senior caught 53 passes for 673 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games last season.

KeAndre Lambert-Smith’s Fit With USC Football

It is unclear as to what exactly Lambert-Smith is seeking, but if he is looking for playing time, a chance to produce at a high level, and exposure to NFL teams, USC football is the place for him.

These are very real reasons a player like him could seek a new program. SC passes the ball at a much higher rate than Penn State, as well as an offense that is designed for receivers to rack up stats. Last season both Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice outproduced KLS, but were targeted fewer times.
