Your USC Trojans dropped their final game as members of the Pac-12 during the regular season last week to their rivals, the UCLA Bruins. USC couldn't muster anything offensively, and it saw them put up an awful performance.

It was a sloppy game all around for this Trojans team, and their normally high-powered offense went cold. Credit must be given to the UCLA defense, but the Trojans also didn't look like they came into the game prepared.

Linebacker Darius Muasau of the Bruins reflected on the team holding the Trojans to just three yards rushing. It was a tough game all around for USC, and UCLA made them look awful on offense.

"Muasau and the defensive unit limited USC to three yards rushing in 22 attempts — the Trojans’ lowest rushing total since they finished with negative-five yards versus Texas in 2018."

Per Steve Galluzzo of The Los Angeles Times

One of the reasons for the low rushing total was quarterback Caleb Williams taking sacks, but the team couldn't get anything going in the running game. UCLA picked up four sacks on the day, and it really helped push USC as low as they had been all year long.

“Holding an offense to three yards is really hard to do,” he said. “Whether its USC or anyone else it’s a really big accomplishment, wherever you are. I don’t think I’ve ever head of that being done anywhere, but we’re not done yet. There’s more work ahead of us and we look to get better.”

Per Steve Galluzzo of The Los Angeles Times

The Trojans will have to live with this result for the next year until these two teams meet again. This should fuel them to get better, and hopefully, next time, they can be the ones to take home the Victory Bell.
