Despite the slew of incoming transfers that USC has received over the past few weeks like former UNLV quarterback Jayden Maiava , their recruiting department remains dually focused on future Trojans. In the past 24 hours, USC has been sending out offers like Miller Moss throws touchdowns. Let's recap who USC has offered over the past day or so.

Recent USC Offers

Central High School (Omaha, NE) Athlete Tory Pittman III

Pittman III (class of 2027) is just one year into his high school career, but he put together an excellent season that resulted in offers from both USC and in-state Nebraska. At a self-reported 6-foot-1, 185-pounds as a freshman, he likely isn't done growing. He played defensive back a ton during his freshman season at Central High, averaging 4.3 tackles per game to go along with two interceptions (below).

Trojan linebackers coach and former North Dakota State head coach Matt Entz, considered an invaluable part of Lincoln Riley's defesnive coaching staff overhaul, flew out to Omaha to offer the freshman. Safe to say USC is high on Pittman III at this point in time.

Houston Country (Warner Robins, GA) Safety Jordan Smith

Jordan Smith (class of 2026) is a relatively lightly recruited safety who measures up at a self-reported 6-foot-2, 185-pounds. He's got offers from Georgia Southern, Bowling Green, and Georgia Tech, the later of which he announced today. USC defensive analyst Bryson Allen-Williams put in the call to Smith. Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH) Defensive Back Elbert Hill

Hill (class of 2026) already held offers from Penn State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Colorado, Michigan, and Ohio State before USC entered the picture. Hill tallied 9 touchdowns, (he also plays wide receiver) 7 interceptions (two pick-sixes), and 10 pass breakups during his sophomore season. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound speedster already has excellent instincts and excelled on both sides of the ball for Archbishop Hogan.  Judging by his film, Hill holds value in all-three phases at this stage in his recruitment. He will be a tough recruit for the Trojans.

Grayson (Loganville, GA) Linebacker Tyler Atkinson

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound defensive extraordinaire Atkinson is a hot commodity amongst national powerhouses. 247 Sports considers him a four-star prospect, the 20th-best recruit in the country, and the second best sophomore coming out of Georgia in his class. He's already been on campus at Tennessee, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, and LSU, all of which have already offered him. Atkinson embodies the modern-day linebacker as a sideline-sideline defender. He came out with a top schools list months ago prior to USC's offer, so the Trojans are likely fighting an uphill battle in regards to Atkinson.

Sprayberry (Marietta, GA) Safety Jorden Edmonds

With offers from Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, and Pittsburgh, the three-sport athlete Jorden Edmonds has options. Upon the completion of his sophomore season is when the power-five offers started to pour in. The 6-foot-3 playmaker played both corner and safety during his sophomore season, but moves more like a safety than a corner at this point is his development. He's one of the more versatile defensive backs in the 2026 cycle.
