The start of USC's season keeps getting better as the team is doing stuff that hasn't been done in almost a decade.

In the Trojan's first two games against San Jose State and Nevada, they have shown that they can be one of the most dominating teams in the country.

This domination has been proven with back-to-back 50-plus point wins. This is the first time that USC has achieved this accomplishment since the 2015 season.

Back in 2015, the Trojans opened up its season with a 55-6 win over Arkansas State and a 59-9 win over Idaho.

The 2015 team was led by Cody Kessler who put up 650 yards and eight touchdowns in those first two games.

Kessler's receivers benefited from their quarterback's great play as Juju Smith-Schuster had nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns over those first two games.

On the ground, Ronald Jones II, was the star back as he rushed for 80-plus yards and a touchdown in both games. Tre Madden also made a name for himself as he put up over 100 yards rushing in the first game.

Now in 2023, USC has another generation of dominant offensive weapons.

Caleb Williams is making a run for a second consecutive Heisman as he's put up 600 yards in the air and tossed nine touchdowns.

Tahj Washington is emerging as Williams's favorite receiver as he's already racked up 160 yards and three touchdowns.

While the passing game is the highlight of the offense this season, the run game has also done its part.

In just 16 rush attempts over two games, Marshawn Lloyd has already run for 118 yards and one touchdown.

While it may seem like a great thing that the Trojans have started off so hot, the 2015 team did cool off.

The team finished 8-6 including back-to-back losses to finish the season in the Pac-12 Championship game against Stanford and the Holiday Bowl against Wisconsin.

This year's team will try to reverse their history.
