The Utah Utes lost a handful of experienced players to the NFL Draft, and one that may have stung the most was safety Cole Bishop.

The hard-hitting safety is projected to land somewhere in the second or third round, but he will have a chance to greatly improve his draft stock. According to a social media post by the event, Bishop will be participating in the Reese's Senior Bowl, which will give him an opportunity to compete among the best draft-eligible prospects in front of every NFL team

The Georgia native left Utah with 197 total tackles, 11 pass deflections, 7.5 sacks, and three interceptions. He will be joined by fellow Ute and safety Sione Vaki in Mobile, Alabama, as they both look to catch the eyes of NFL teams, while showcasing just how good they can be at the next level.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl is considered to be the most prestigious college all-star game due to the fact that two NFL teams coach it. It also had 106 total players drafted last season, with 36 selected in the first three rounds of last year’s NFL Draft.

Utes fans won't be shocked of Bishop is one of the biggest stories coming out of the event.
