Virginia will have two representatives at the NFL Combine, as wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks has joined defensive back Anthony Johnson in accepting an invitation to the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine, held from February 27th through March 6th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Wicks declared for the 2023 NFL Draft back on December 5th, ending his UVA career with 90 receptions, 1,694 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in 30-career games. The 2021 season saw Wicks burst onto the scene in his first year as a starter, recording 57 receptions for nine touchdowns and 1,203 receiving yards, breaking Herman Moore's UVA program single-season receiving record. Wicks was selected to the All-ACC First Team and was a midseason addition to the Biletnikoff Watch List.

Although 2022 was a down year for Wicks, there should still be some significant interest from the NFL in the 6'2", 208-pound receiver, who reminded everyone of his dynamic playmaking abilities at times this season, especially on this ridiculous catch-and-run touchdown against Georgia Tech:

The NFL Scouting Combine gives Dontayvion Wicks a big opportunity to show off his elite route-running abilities and pass-catching skills and solidify his position as one of the top wide receivers in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Dontayvion Wicks and Anthony Johnson will both play in the Reese's Senior Bowl on February 4th in Mobile Alabama before participating in the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis from February 27th-March 6th.
