The 2023 NFL Draft 3nd round saw another five selections of ACC players. Syracuse's do-everything defensive back Garrett Williams got things started, going to the Arizona Cardinals with the 72nd pick. UNC's big-time receiver Josh Downs was taken by the Colts with the 79th pick shortly before Yaya Diaby went off the board to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 82. Trenton Simpson joins the Ravens defense, as he was chosen with pick number 86. Kobie Turner was the last ACC player to be selected on day two, as he was swooped up by the L.A. Rams with the 89th pick.
