NC State quarterback Devin Leary heads into 2022 after not only having a career year in 2021, but also having a season where he was one of the most reliable quarterbacks in the country. Leary was tied for the lead among Power 5 quarterbacks with a 1.8% turnover worthy play rate, throwing only 5 interceptions on 431 pass attempts. He had a streak of 228 passes without an interception last season, which was the third-longest streak in Wolfpack history. While he was doing all that, Leary also threw for 35 touchdowns, 27 of which came in ACC play, and had a big-time throw rate of 6.8%, tied for third best in the Power 5 according to PFF. For those reasons, NC State quarterback Devin Leary comes in at #3 on our list of the Top 25 Returning Players in the ACC.
