Watch: Colorado's Travis Hunter, Colorado State DB have friendly greeting following controversial hit

University of Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter and Colorado State defensive back Henry Blackburn recently got together, less than two weeks after the former suffered a lacerated liver following a controversial late hit from his counterpart.

The hit by Blackburn came during the Buffaloes double-overtime 43-35 home win against the Rams on Sept. 16. Two days later, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders revealed that Hunter would be out for three weeks.

Blackburn received immense criticism for the play, as scores of analysts and fans thought he should've been ejected and suspended. The senior and his family started being harassed on social media and through phone calls and text messages, while also receiving death threats in the immediate aftermath of the incident.

Blackburn and his mother's cell phone numbers were published online the night of the contest, and both his campus address and family's home address were reportedly also published.

If Blackburn and his family are still being harassed nearly two weeks later, maybe the video of him and Colorado's cornerback/wide receiver embracing will finally put an end to the threats.
