Watch: Delaware coach is 'proud to be a Blue Hen' after upsetting Navy

One of the more stunning Week 1 upsets in college football came with the Delaware Blue Hens knocking off Navy with a 14-7 win in Annapolis.

Delaware entered the game coming off a 5-6 2021 campaign, with a first-year head coach in Ryan Carty, and as a two touchdown underdog on the road.

None of that mattered as the Blue Hens were able to grind out a tough 14-7 win for their first win over an FBS team since 2007.

Carty's reaction to his first win as Delaware head coach? He is proud! How proud? Well, let him tell you....

Random fun fact: Each of Delaware's past three wins over FBS teams came against Navy.

Chandler Harvin's 51-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter was the difference for Delaware on Saturday.
