The 2024 Nebraska football season is one of the most anticipated in recent memory and five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola is one of the biggest reasons why.

There are other reasons to be optimistic. Head coach Matt Rhule is chief among them. His programs are known for taking leaps in the second year and after a 5-7 season in 2023, Nebraska football fans are ready to go bowling once again, maybe even beyond.

The schedule this season isn’t terribly difficult. There is a chance for the Huskers to start strong and maybe even make themselves contenders in the Big Ten. You never know. If Nebraska football had a legit quarterback last season, they could have easily won the Big Ten West.

They didn’t. That’s why they got Raiola and here’s a glimpse of him throwing passes at Nebraska spring practice along with the other quarterbacks.

Spring highlights from Dylan Raiola

As always, Raiola makes throwing the ball look easy and effortless. Notably, Nebraska players are in full pads because that’s when you start to find out about the running backs, the lines, and the defense.

This Nebraska football defense is going to be really good. The Polar Bear — Nash Hutmacher — is one reason for that and he was back on the practice field Thursday after spending a few months with the Nebraska wrestling team.

Husker Online posted an extended video of practice. You can see more highlights of Raiola, plus Daniel Kaelin and Heinrich Haarberg throwing the ball. Plus, you’ll see some offensive and defensive line drills.

Football is back folks. The spring game is April 27th and before we know it, Nebraska will be back in Lincoln Memorial Stadium for the season opener against UTEP.
