Joe Burrow played spectacularly in LSU’s huge 46-41 road win over Alabama on Saturday and received the ultimate honor from his teammates afterwards.

The star Tigers quarterback was carried off the field at Bryant-Denny Stadium on a few teammates’ shoulders:

Burrow, who is among the Heisman Trophy favorites, went 31/39 for 393 yards and three touchdowns in the game. He also rushed for 64 yards and made big play after big play in the game, constantly converting when things were on the line.

LSU is now 9-0 and has games at Ole Miss, vs. Arkansas and vs. Texas A&M to finish the regular season. They are in a strong position to win the SEC West and make the College Football Playoff. And they wouldn’t be doing it without the spectacular play of Burrow.
