UConn vs. NC State: The #12 Wolfpack took care of business at home and defeated UConn, 41-10. NC State got things started fast with quarterback Devin Leary hitting wide receiver Thayer Thomas for a 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the game. Leary finished the game completing 32 of 44 passes for 320 yards and four touchdowns. Thomas had five catches for 115 yards and a touchdown, and Devin Carter had 63 receiving yards and a touchdown on five receptions. The NC State defense held UConn to just eight first downs and 39 total yards passing.
