Watch: Walk-off FG lifts No. 21 Arizona over Colorado

Arizona remained hot on Saturday, increasing their win streak to four games following a last-second, walk-off field goal lifting the No. 21 Wildcats to a 34-31 victory over Colorado.

With the game tied 31-31 late in the fourth quarter, Arizona's offense orchestrated an 11-play 67-yard drive, setting up the winning 24-yard FG from Tyler Loop. However, they didn't make things easy on themselves.

Following a five-yard completion to wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig down to the Colorado one-yard line, QB Noah Fifita was stuffed for a two-yard loss on the next play, attempting a sneak at the goal line.

Arizona head coach Jedd Fisch took the cautious approach and, with Colorado out of timeouts, opted to run the clock out with kneel-downs before kicking the game-winner rather than take another shot at the end zone.

Colorado had the opportunity to take the lead before Arizona's game-sealing FG drive, but their final offensive possession ended with a missed 44-yard attempt by kicker Alejandro Mata with 4:57 left.

After a 3-3 start, Arizona improves to 7-3 (5-2), putting together four consecutive victories, three over top-20 opponents. Meanwhile, Colorado's steep decline continues.

Becoming darlings of the college football world following an undefeated 3-0 start to the 2023 campaign, Colorado has dropped four in a row and six of their last seven games, falling to 4-6 (1-6).

Arizona's win capped off one heck of a weekend for Wildcat athletics. Less than 24 hours before Arizona's victory over Colorado, the No. 12-ranked men's basketball team stunned No. 2 Duke on the road, 78-73.
