Watch: William & Mary pulls off an unusual trick play

William & Mary pulled off an unconventional trick play this past Saturday in a 27-21 win over Delaware.

The Tribe deployed two quarterbacks on the play, with Hollis Mathis running under center during pre-snap motion while Darius Wilson stood in shotgun formation. Center Ryan McKenna hiked the ball to Wilson despite Mathis being under center.

Wilson tossed the ball to running back Bronson Yoder -- a new candidate for best name in college football -- who outran two Delaware defenders.

It's a bold strategy to essentially run a play where 11 Delaware defenders would be going against nine William & Mary offensive players. But the Blue Hens were caught off guard and the Tribe were successful.

In a six-point win, it proved to be a game-changer.
