Who wants that Smoke? Kentucky running back enters transfer portal

Kentucky running back Kavosiey Smoke's game is even better than his name, and the Wildcats star announced his intention to take both elsewhere by entering the transfer portal.

Smoke played five seasons with the Wildcats after he redshirted his freshman season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Smoke was allowed an extra year of eligibility. (h/t On3)

During his time in Kentucky, Smoke made several highlights.

In his career, Smoke has 291 carries for 1,583 yards (5.4 yards per carry) and 13 touchdowns.

Per On3's Daniel Morrison, Smoke is from the town of Wetumpka, two hours southwest of Tuscaloosa and 49 miles from Auburn. If he stays in the SEC, is it possible he decides to play a little closer to home?

On3 projects Smoke to have an NIL value of $69,000, easily within the range of money available for top college programs.

Plenty of players will be on the move this offseason, and Smoke is one of the biggest names added to the portal so far. Wherever he lands, he's sure to light it up.
