Wonderlic test scores leaked for Joe Burrow, top NFL Draft QBs

Every prospect partakes in a Wonderlic test at the NFL Scouting Combine. The scores are supposed to be kept private, but inevitability they end up being leaked every year.

The Wonderlic test, according to Wikipedia, "is a popular group intelligence test used to assess the aptitude of prospective employees for learning and problem-solving in a range of occupations."

The Athletic's Bob McGinn has released the Wonderlic scores for this year's draft class, and the scores for the quarterbacks are pretty interesting ... particularly where Tua Tagovailoa ranks.

Take a look:

Note: This test is based out of a possible 50 points.

  • Nate Stanley: 40
  • Jake Fromm: 35
  • Joe Burrow: 34
  • Jake Luton: 29
  • Jordan Love: 27
  • Justin Herbert: 25
  • Anthony Gordon: 25
  • Brian Lewerke: 25
  • Jacob Eason: 23
  • James Morgan: 23
  • Jalen Hurts: 18
  • Tua Tagovailoa: 13

LSU's Joe Burrow, expected to go first overall to the Cincinnati Bengals, scored 34 out of 50 points. Oregon's Justin Herbert scored a 25 and Alabama's Tagovailoa scored the worst with 13 points.

Tagovailoa's score is below the historic average of 20 points, while Iowa's Nate Stanley's 40 points is well above average.

Do Wonderlic scores really matter? A majority of people don't think so. Ryan Fitzpatrick reportedly scored 48 points on his Wonderlic test ... and he's no Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers.

However, former NFL scout John Middlekauff has said that everything matters when it comes to quarterbacks ... so it really depends on who you ask.
