The XFL continued to roll on over the weekend with a couple of thrilling matchups throughout the league. D.C. held on to its undefeated record in a barn-burner with St. Louis that went down to the final drive. In total, three of the four games ended up coming down to one possession in what was the most exciting week of action since Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and other partners re-launched the league.

There are eight teams in the league that are split into two four-team divisions - the XFL North and XFL South. Each franchise will play the teams in their division twice while also playing the four teams in the opposite division once to make up a total of ten regular season games.

Multiple former Seminoles are playing in the league, including Orlando quarterback Deondre Francois, San Antonio running back Jacques Patrick, Orlando linebacker Terrance Smith, and D.C. linebacker Reggie Northrup.

Here's a complete look at the week and how former Florida State stars performed.

Vegas Vipers (0-2) vs. Seattle Sea Dragons (0-2):  Sea Dragons 30, Vipers 26

No former Seminoles were involved in the contest.

The Sea Dragons pulled out their first victory of the season following a 65-yard touchdown pass from Ben DiNucci to Josh Gordon with less than a minute remaining in the game.

Next Week: Vegas at D.C./Seattle vs. San Antonio

D.C. Defenders (2-0) vs. St. Louis Battlehawks (2-0): Defenders 34, Battlehawks 28

D.C. Linebacker Reggie Northrup: Five total tackles (3 solo, 2 assisted)

St. Louis Wide Receiver George Campbell: No stats recorded

The Defenders jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the opening frame following a pick-six. However, the Battlehawks struck back to tie the game at the half. D.C. created more separation in the final two quarters and St. Louis was unable to convert on a 4th and 15 'onside kick' that would've given the team a chance at a game-tying drive with 22 seconds left.

Next Week: D.C. vs. Vegas/St. Louis vs. Arlington

Arlington Renegades (1-1) vs. Orlando Guardians (0-2): Renegades 10, Guardians 9

Orlando Quarterback Deondre Francois: Did not appear during the game. The Guardians rolled with Paxton Lynch for the entire game.

Orlando Linebacker Terrance Smith: A season-high nine tackles (five solo, four assisted) and one tackle for loss

Orlando Linebacker DeCalon Brooks: Brooks is on the Injured/Reserved list

Former FSU cornerback Tony Carter and former assistant Mark Snyder are members of Seminole legend Terrell Buckley's coaching staff in Orlando.

The Guardians were eight-point underdogs entering the contest but put themselves in a position to win their first game of the season. However, Lynch's deep ball in the final minute was slightly off-target and the Renegades were able to hold on.

Next Week: Orlando vs. Houston/Arlington at St. Louis

Houston Roughnecks (3-0) vs. San Antonio Bramahs (1-2):  Roughnecks 22, Brahmas 13

San Antonio Running Back Jacques Patrick: eight rushes, 36 yards, one touchdown

San Antonio Offensive Lineman Derrick Kelly: After being activated for the first time this season, Kelly ended up suffering a calf injury.

The Brahmas scored on their opening possession of the game but were held to six consecutive points following that. Patrick broke the drought with a short touchdown run in the third quarter but the Roughnecks stopped San Antonio twice on downs and pulled down an interception in the final frame to secure the victory.

Next Week: Houston at Orlando/San Antonio at Seattle
