Bill Belichick's move to college football has many interested, and after Hard Knocks was unable to get an NFL team to be featured on the offseason program due to the New York Giants debacle, they turned their attention to the University of North Carolina.

The deal was reported, but just a few days later, it fell through.

And now, with all the drama surrounding Bill Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson, more information about this situation has come out.

The Athletic reports that Hudson "played an instrumental role in stopping the production" because she asked "to be heavily involved in the project."

"According to documents obtained Tuesday by The Athletic, NFL Films was scheduled to begin filming March 1 as part of a two-month stint on campus that would delve behind the scenes into the six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach’s first UNC team," Matt Baker, Andrew Marchand and Brendan Marks reported.

"Instead, on March 3, Jessica Boddy — the NFL’s vice president for commercial operations and business affairs — sent an email to North Carolina’s counsel confirming that showmakers “will not proceed with the production of the Belichick project.”

The outlet further added that "North Carolina lost out on $200,000 in facilities fees and untold more in exposure."
