Colorado QB Kaidon Salter Announces Career News on Wednesday

Kaidon Salter and the Colorado Buffaloes are 3-5 with an upcoming matchup against the Arizona Wildcats. They're looking to bounce back after an embarrassing 53-7 Week 9 loss on the road to the Utah Utes.

Salter is in his first season with Colorado after transferring from the Liberty Flames. Through eight games, he's completed 102-of-164 passes for 1,193 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions. He's also rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns.

Despite the team's lack of success, Salter continues to earn exciting opportunities and build off his personal brand. That includes in the Name, Image and Likeness department.

On Wednesday, Salter announced a new paid partnership with Rag & Bone, a clothing brand based in New York.

"Check out the @ragandbone Miramar Track Pant in the a new CU Boulder colors!" Salter wrote via an Instagram post. "Pick up a pair at the new pop up on Twenty Ninth Street."

Playing for a team as recognizable as Colorado, this is just another in a long list of brand deals the quarterback has signed. In October alone, Salter also announced partnerships with 7-Eleven and Meritrust Credit Union.

In April, College Football Network's Shivani Menon gave Salter an NIL valuation of $696,000. It's the third highest for any Colorado player, behind offensive tackle Jordan Seaton and quarterback Julian Lewis.

Time is running out for him to keep taking advantage of these opportunities. Salter is playing in his final season of eligibility. Another deal, though, shows his popularity continues to grow.

Colorado has four regular-season games remaining. Three more wins are needed for the Buffaloes to make a bowl game appearance.

With another NIL deal under his belt, Salter looks to lead Colorado to a win over Arizona. Kickoff is Saturday at 7 p.m. ET at Folsom Field, airing on FS1.
