Not surprisingly, this sparked a ton of commentary on Twitter, none of it particularly glowing, about Michigan and head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Jim Harbaugh just called a timeout with 15:00 left on the clock in the first quarter. Genius

Did Harbaugh call a TO…with 15 minutes left in the 1st quarter? Like with no time running off the clock? Like before the 1st play of the game?#MICHvsPSU pic.twitter.com/zdljJWB7MM
